Why am I seeing a dialog that is asking me to do a “Farm Backup”?
FarmVille2 is always in a constant stride to provide the best farming experience for all our amazing Farmers out there. It is under this improvement process that the game has rolled out its latest update “Farm Backup”.
Completing the “Farm Backup” will ensure that your Farm is enabled with data recovery option and will allow us to keep all your progress and important data safe and secure with us.
If you have been playing only on Facebook, completing this process will also allow you to use your credentials to access your Farm on our very own Zyngagames.com platform without any hassle at any point in the future.
The backup process will also enable us to restore your Farm progress across any platform in the future, even if you lose access by any means.

However, if your “Farm Backup” process is already completed, then you need not provide us any extra details and can follow the Steps mentioned HERE.

Why am I seeing this message that says “Your Farm is Backed Up!” and what do I need to do about it?
Step 1:
If your Farm Backup is already completed you will be seeing a dialog informing you about the same.
This means that we already have your verified information with us and you Need Not perform any further action related to Farm Backup, since it is already enabled.
Once you have read through the message, Click on the Okay Button to continue.
NOTE: If the above dialog does not show up automatically, you can view it by clicking on the HUD Icon on the top left side of your screen, as shown below.
Step 2:
Once you click the Okay Button you will see the Farm Backup Successful Message (as shown below).
You can view your details in this dialog. We recommend you to keep a note of this information since these will come in handy as your credentials for easy login and data recovery in the future.
Click on the Okay Button to collect a cool Reward and continue with your Farm.
NOTE: You can always view your information anytime after this, by simply clicking on the HUD Icon which says “Farm Backup Successful” as shown below.
What is “Farm Backup” and how can I complete the Backup Process?
Step 1:
If your Farm Backup is not completed you will be seeing a dialog asking you to do the same, as shown below.
Once you have read through the message, Click on the Okay Button to continue.
Alternatively, you can also start the Farm Backup process yourself by clicking on the HUD Icon on the top left side of your screen, as shown below.
You can also resume the backup process by clicking on the HUD Icon, in case you quit the game anytime during this entire process.
Step 2:
Once you continue, you will be asked to provide your basic details like Email ID and Phone Number as shown below.
We recommend you to provide a valid Email ID that you have access to and the one you wish to link the game with. This can also be the Email ID that you already use for logging in to the game either on Facebook or Zyngagames.
We also suggest you enter your Phone Number along with the correct country code. Example: If you are playing the game from the USA, your country code is 001 or 1. You can choose to enter either.
The details that you provide here, will be saved securely with us and will only used to save your Farm progress and data recovery purpose.
Once you enter your Email ID and Phone Number, click on the Confirm Button to continue.
Step 3:
After you enter your details in the previous step, you will be prompted to verify your Email ID you entered.
A verification link will already be sent to your Email ID.
In case, you enter an Email ID that is already registered with us with another Farm you will be prompted the same (as shown below).
If the above message is shown, we recommend you to click on the Re-enter Email Button and enter a different Email ID to be associated with your current Farm.
NOTE:
- If you do not see the Verification Link in your email Inbox, you can try clicking on the Resend Button.
- Alternatively, you can also check the Spam/Junk Folder in your email Inbox.
Step 4:
Go to your Email Inbox. You will see an email sent from Zyngagames.com. Open the email to see the below verify option. Click on the Green Verify Button.
NOTE: If you have opened and verified your email through your phone, then please refresh the webpage on your computer to confirm verification.
Step 5:
Once you click the Verify Button on the email sent to you in the previous step, you will be redirected to a Zyngagames page saying “Create a Password for your Farm!” (as shown below).
You will be prompted to Create a New Password.
Enter a suitable Password in the Enter Password field. Type your Password again in the Re-Enter Password field. If both passwords match, it will be indicated with a green tint on the field as shown above.
Click on Confirm Button to confirm your password and continue.
Step 6:
With the completion of the previous steps, your “Backup and Restore Facebook Farm” process will be complete and you will be able to review your Zyngagames credentials on a dialog as shown below.
Checking the “Login and Save Credentials” checkbox will allow you to save your credential data and login to your farm directly from here.
Unchecking the same, will require you to login to your farm using your Email ID and Password Credentials that you created in the previous steps.
Once you review your information, you can click on “Let’s Play” to continue with your farm.
Step 7:
The previous action will bring you back to the Zyngagames page from where you can continue playing on your farm by clicking the Play Now Button.
Step 8:
Should you choose to go back to your Facebook farm you will see the “Email Verification Successful” dialog automatically.
If you do not see the dialog automatically, we recommend you to close the current dialog and Click again on the HUD Icon.
Alternatively, you can refresh or reload the game and Click on the HUD Icon.
This will display the “Email Verification Successful” dialog as shown above.
My Farm Backup process is done but I did not create a New Password for my Farm on Zyngagames. How can I use the same credentials to start playing on Zyngagames.com?
If your Farm Backup Process is completed, you can easily use your Email ID that you provided during the process as a Login Credential on Zyngagames.com.
All you need to do is follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1:
Head over to Zyngagames.com. Your Email ID is already backed up. Hence, you will only need to create your Password credential for safekeeping of your data and Farm progress.
Click on the Forgot Password Button to start the password creation process as shown below.
Step 2:
Here, you will be prompted to enter the Email ID linked with Zyngagames.com.
Enter the Email ID that you provided during the Farm Backup Process, and Click the Send Email Button.
Step 3:
The above action will send out a Password Reset/Creation Link to the Email ID provided in the previous step and you will be communicating the same.
Click on the Understood Button to acknowledge the information and go back to the Login Page.
Step 4:
Now, go to your Email Inbox. You will see an email sent from Zyngagmames.com. Open the email message and Click on the Reset Button. (As shown below)
NOTE: If you have opened and verified your email through your phone, then please Click the red Zynga Logo on the top left of your computer browser to confirm verification.
Step 5:
The above action will redirect you back to the Zyngagames Login Page. You will be prompted to Create a New Password.
Enter a suitable Password for your Zyngagames account.
NOTE: Password must have at least 7 characters and must contain at least 1 Capital Letter and a Special Character.
Once you enter a suitable Password, click on the Submit Button to continue.
Step 6:
The above action will take you back to the Zyngagames Login Page where you can enter your Email ID and the Password credentials created by yourself and continue to your Farm and start playing right where you left off.
What is Restore Facebook Farm? How can I use it to transfer my Facebook farm and continue playing on Zyngagames?
Howdy Farmer,
If your Farm Backup Process is completed, then Restore Facebook Farm will allow you to seamlessly transfer all your farm progress from your Facebook Account and enable you to continue on Zyngagames from right where you left off.
All you need to do is to follow the simple steps mentioned below:
Step 1:
Go to Zyngagames.com and you will land on the login page where you will see the option of Restore Facebook Farm as shown below.
Click to start the Restoration process.
Alternatively, you can start the Restoration process by clicking on the Restore Facebook Farm placed on the Top Right corner of the screen as shown below.
Step 2:
If you have already completed the Farm Backup Process earlier, you will need to enter the Email ID provided as credentials.
If you haven’t done so already please refer to the section HERE.
Once you enter your Email ID associated with “Farm Backup” click on Continue.
Step 3:
After you enter your Email ID in the previous step, you will be prompted to verify the same.
A verification link will already be sent to your Email ID.
NOTE:
- In case you entered the wrong Email ID, you can click on Re-enter Email Button and enter your Email ID again in the dialog shown in the previous step
- If you do not see a Verification Link sent in your Email Inbox, please click on the Re-send Link Button.
Step 4:
Go to your Email Inbox. You will see an email sent from Zyngagames.com. Open the email to see the below verify option. Click on the Green Verify Button.
