The parents of FarmVille sought Marie's help in building something fun in their backyards for their kids to play in. She thought that adding adventure to this project would be more exciting since the kids always love to do both.
Join her in building and designing a Tree Playhouse where all kids can enjoy! For your efforts, you’ll get a baby Hinny Donkey!
If you are level 15 or higher, the “It's Play Time!” popup will appear. Click on the “Place Playhouse Workshop” button to begin the feature. You can also Buy the completed Playhouse Workshop using Farm Bucks.
To start building the Playhouse Workshop, you must first collect all the materials you need.
Next, ask your friends to give you a hand with the construction or hire some Builders.
The finished Playhouse Workshop which you can place anywhere on your farm will look like this:
Click the Playhouse Workshop to start designing your Tree Playhouse. From there, you can see the Tool Box for the Tree Playhouse on the right side. You can also see the various parts that you can use to customize the workshop beside it.
You can unlock the customization choices and other rewards by collecting Design Points.
How do you collect Design Points? There are three ways to do this:
- Complete tasks shown on the task shelves. These tasks are locked and to be able to access them, simply raise or get adult Guineafowls.
Note: Each “Task shelf” has its own requirement of Guineafowls to be unlocked.
The Guineafowls not only help you unlock the tasks but also provide the Tool Box that you’ll need for crafting. Get Tool Boxes by feeding your Guineafowls.
- Post for help to notify your friends so they can send you Design Points.
- You can also get Design Points by completing the tasks in the “Splashing Good Times!” line of quests.
When you have enough Guineafowls on your farm, you can begin doing the tasks. Each task gives out a different number of Design Points.
To keep track of the number of Design Points you’ve collected, check the counter in the lower-left corner of the menu.

Note: When you reach a milestone that unlocks a part of the Tree Playhouse, you’re unlocking the customization choices for that part and not the physical part itself. You’ll get to keep the whole Tree Playhouse once you finish the feature after unlocking all the parts.
Once you have unlocked the first part of the Tree Playhouse, you can toggle between the buttons to check and choose the design that you want for your Playhouse.
When all of the tasks are unlocked, and you have collected all the required Design Points, you need to make and confirm your final choices.
You will receive a confirmation pop-up for your final design. You can either click Yes to confirm or No to change the final design of your Tree Playhouse.
You can play another version of the feature so you’ll have different designs of the Tree Playhouse!
