The Beauty Bar!

The Women’s Council has come together to open FarmVille's first Beauty Salon. It was Marie’s mom who had the idea then everyone pitched in with their ideas and skills. But they are short of funds to push through with their plans. They could really use your help setting up the Beauty Bar so they can raise funds. For your efforts, you’ll be rewarded with a Baby Black and White Siri Cow!

 

If you are level 15 or higher, “The Beauty Bar!” popup will appear. Click on the “Start Building” button to begin this feature.

 

Start building your Beauty Bar by gathering all the materials you need.

 

 

Next, ask for help or hire Builders using your Farm Bucks to complete the construction. 

 

 

The finished Beauty Bar is automatically placed outside your farm and it will look like this:

 

 

In the Beauty Bar, you will be able to sell salon supplies to earn Gold Tokens. 

 

 

There are a variety of supplies that you can sell but first you need to check the price of the supplies as they tend to fluctuate with the change in demand for them. The current price is shown on top of the item.

 

 

The prices of the supplies will change when the counter shown in the center of the Beauty Bar reaches 00:00:00. The price may increase or decrease based on the News Forecast.

 

 

You can plan and prepare items according to the News Forecast. Remember to keep the current price and the expected future price in mind.

 

 

To prepare the items, click on the Open Inventory button. You can prepare a Craft or grow a flower Stalk here. 

 

 

In order to prepare a craft, click on the Craft button.

 

 

Once you have the required ingredients, you can click the Make button to craft an item. You can get these ingredients from your farm or from your friends.

 

 

You can also prepare flower Stalks from this screen by clicking on the Plant button. Make sure that you fertilize these crops. Only fertilized crops can produce a flower Stalk.

 

 

The Items that you have prepared are stored in the Inventory. You can increase inventory storage capacity by clicking on the Expand button. 

 

 

To expand your inventory, you will need materials.  Get these materials by asking your friends for help or by purchasing them.

 

 

The green upward arrow indicates an item currently in profit and the red downward arrow indicates an item currently in loss. This may change after the price refreshes so plan accordingly.

 

 

 

 

When you are ready to sell an item, click on the ‘+’ button on the lower right to add an item to your Cart.

 

 

You can add multiple items from the inventory to the Cart. Click on the ‘Sell Now!’ button to sell them all at once for Gold Tokens. 

 

 

Always keep in mind that you sell each item for the best price. Even if you have to wait for the next price refresh. 

 

 

The Gold Tokens you’ve earned so far can be viewed on the lower left side of the Beauty Bar.

 

 

Collect the required Gold Tokens to win amazing milestone rewards!

Splash The Music!

Walter saw a beautiful harp fountain while on a business trip. He was so enthralled that he came home and secretly set up a musical fountain in the garden for Barbara, who was extremely delighted by it all! Excited by this success, Walter now wants farmers all around the county to share in her delight. Help him get the word out and have the farmers set up a Harp Fountain in their gardens too!

 

Create one by building a Design Workshop and give the Fountain a musical touch. For your efforts, you’ll get a baby Navajo Churro Smoke Ram!

 

If you are level 15 or higher, the Splash The Music popup will appear. Click on the Place Design Workshop button to begin the feature. You can also buy the completed Design Workshop using Farm Bucks.

 

 

To start building the Design Workshop, you must first collect all the materials you need.

 

 

Next, ask your friends to give you a hand with the construction or hire some Builders.

 

 

The finished Design Workshop which you can place anywhere on your farm will look like this: 

 

 

To start designing your fountain, click the Design Workshop. On the right side of the Design Workshop is the blueprint for the Harp Fountain. You can see the various parts that you can use to customize the fountain beside the blueprint.

 

 

You can unlock the customization choices and other rewards by collecting Design Points.

 

 

How do you collect Design Points? There are two ways to do this:

 

1. Complete tasks shown on the task shelves. These tasks are locked and to be able to access them, simply raise or get adult Hedgehogs.
   
   

 

 

 

Note: Each “Task shelf” has its requirement of Hedgehogs to be unlocked.

 

The Hedgehogs not only help you unlock the tasks but also provide Blueprints that you’ll need for crafting. Get Blueprints by feeding your Hedgehogs.

 

 

 

2.   Post for help to notify your friends so they can send you Design Point.
   
           

 

 

    

When you have enough Hedgehogs on your farm, you can begin doing the tasks. Each task gives out a different number of Design       Points.

 

To keep track of the number of Design Points you’ve collected, check the counter in the lower-left corner of the menu.

 

 

You start earning rewards when you reach specific milestones.

 

 

5 Design Points - Unlocks the Decorations part

 

25 Design Points - Katalox Tree

 

55 Design Points - Unlocks the body part of the fountain

 

100 Design Points - Resource Pack

 

180 Design Points - Unlocks the base part and a baby Navajo Churro Smoke Ram

 

Note: When you reach a milestone that unlocks a part of the Harp Fountain, you’re unlocking the customization choices for that part and not the physical part itself. You’ll get to keep the whole Harp Fountain once you finish the feature after unlocking all the parts.

 

When you have enough Design Points, the Harp is unlocked and you can toggle between the buttons to choose which of the 2 designs you like for the Harp Fountain.

 

 

Collect Design Points to help Walter design the most musical Harp Fountain for Barbara and win amazing rewards!

Bee-Coming Beekeepers

Beekeeper Ben and Honey Connoisseur Chloe wish to introduce their beekeeping practice to the farm. Help them create aromatic and tasty varieties of honey by helping them build a beautiful apiary

 

The feature will unlock at Level 19. A pop-up invitation will appear asking you to join temporary Farmhands Honey Connoisseur Chloe and Beekeeper Ben as they arrive at the farm for the Bee-Coming Beekeepers event. If you cannot see the event, you may need to force close the game or reboot your device to see the latest update.

 

 

Tap the Apiary to start the Bee-Coming Beekeepers event. This temporary area will improve in each stage while you progress during the event.

 

 

The Bee-Coming Beekeepers event starts on May 19 and ends on June 6, 2021. The event is made up of 6 Phases and each phase has its own set of rewards. You have 19 days to complete the event and win the temporary Honey Dog for 30 days.

 

 

You will need to collect rare event items and craft limited-time recipes to finish each phase of the event. Complete the phase to win rewards.

Temporary Place of Interest: Hive Workshop

The Curios Collectathon

Curator Carla has arrived at the farm with unique exhibits that you can put together using Curios. But the ride to the farm got bumpy and few Curios fell on the way. 

Luckily, Speedy Sadie can help in collecting the missing Curios fallen on the way. Help Speedy Sadie get past the obstacles and collect as many Curios as possible!

 

 

 

 

Speedy Sadie will need 5 treats each time to run and collect Curios on the path. You can collect one horse treat every five minutes, collect them before the bar gets completely filled up to make the most use of them to run the Collectathon.

 

 

 

 

How does getting Early Access benefit me?

If you are at Level 30 or higher, you will have the chance to purchase the early access to The Curios Collectathon on May 17.

Early Access gives an extra 6 days head start to complete the Phase 1 of The Curios Collectathon and unlock the Leaderboard! Hence you can get ahead of other farmer friends on the leaderboard and have a better chance to win rewards!

 

 

 

 

How do I get more Horse Treats?

You can get more horse treats by purchasing the temporary farmhands Curator Carla and Farrier Francis who can find them at Glade and Mine. Another way to get more horse treats is to purchase the horse treat packs by clicking on the ‘+’ icon near horse treats.

 

 

 

 

How do I guide Speedy Sadie?

The path will have obstacles. In order to avoid them, you can either change lanes by swiping up or swiping down or you can jump over them by tapping on the screen.

 

 

 

 

You can also collect power ups on the way and make your hunt for Curios better. There are two types of power ups: Shield and Magnet. Shield will let you pass through obstacles without receiving any damage and magnet will attract all the Curios around you, towards you.

 

 

 

How do I complete a phase in the event?

Each phase requires setting up an exhibit setpiece which consists of three parts. Fixing each part will require a certain number of Curios. Collect those curios with the help of Speedy Sadie and progress to the next phase. 

 

 

To complete the event, you’ll have to complete all 5 structures.

 

 

Note: Reaching the end of the path successfully also grants you bonus curios for completion. Hence helps you in progressing faster!

 

 

How do I maintain or increase my score in Leaderboard?

While the event can be completed by just collecting the required Curios, leaderboard score only increases if the player reaches the finish line each time they run to collect Curios. 

The score is calculated by adding the number of Curios collected in that run and the bonus Curios, this number is then multiplied with the current collection streak the player is on. If the boost is active, the score is multiplied by 2. This is the final leaderboard score that player earned by completing the current run. The score is added to the existing player score in the leaderboard and the position is updated accordingly.

 

 

 

Note: Your Collection Streak will reset to zero if you don’t reach the finish line or quit the run in between. 

 

 

In case you hit an obstacle, you have an option to watch an ad for the first time or continue running by spending keys. Each time you spend keys to continue, you’ll receive a free shield boost when you start running on selecting continue.

What are the rewards?

On completing The Curios Collectathon, you receive 15 Treasured Trinkets to make deals with Trader Tyler which are doubled if The Curios Collectathon Pass is active. Trader Tyler will help you get any item for a Treasured Trinket each time.

 

 

Along with this you also receive leaderboard rewards based on your position:

Stage 1:

Gold Reward- Fancy Flora 

She’ll stay for 30 days after the event, provides guaranteed 2 Minerals every time she visits the pond and 50% chance of finding 2 Tin at the Mine

Plant Collection

Barbara heard about the Cactus and Succulent convention in the city. Since farmers are still showing off their spring gardens, she thought it's a brilliant idea to bring their succulent exhibit closer home. Help her create a lovely Succulent arrangement by building a Succulent Garden on your farm and she’ll reward you with a Przewalski's Mini Horse!

 

If you are level 15 or higher, the “Serene Succulents!” pop-up will appear. Click on the “Start Building” button to begin the feature. You can also buy the completed Succulent Garden using Farm Bucks.

 

 

To start building the Succulent Garden, you must first collect all the materials you need.

 

 

The finished Succulent Garden, which is automatically placed outside your farm, will look like this:

 

 

Start growing Succulent for your collection by clicking on the garden.

 

 

Click on the Plant Succulent button to go to the Succulent Market.

 

 

In the Succulent Market, you will first need to select a Pot.

 

 

After picking a Pot to use, choose a Succulent. You can make new combinations by making use of different Succulent and Pots. The other choices for Pots and Succulent will unlock after growing a specific number of Succulent.

 

 

You will see more information about the combination you have selected on the right side of the market. 

 

 

The information will show if you have grown the selection before. Make sure to use new Pots and Succulent pairings as only new combinations are added to your collection. 

 

 

You will also see how many hours it will take to grow the Succulent. Grow the Succulent within the allotted time so it will reach a Pristine condition.

 

 

Click on the Plant Succulents to start the timer and grow the Succulent you chose.

 

 

You will need two Growth Requirements to grow the Succulent: Tools and Mega Mulch.

 

 

You can get Tools by crafting them. Make sure to harvest your fertilized crops and trees to earn Mega Mulch.

 

 

The number of Tools and Mega Mulch needed will vary depending on the combination you selected. You will be able to see the Growth Requirements after you have selected the combination.

 

 

Keep an eye on the Timer so your Succulent will grow within the specified time and reach a Pristine condition.

 

 

If you need more time to grow your Succulent, collect Pristine Nutrients and you’ll get extra time for the next Succulent onwards.

 

 

You can earn Pristine Nutrients by completing the “The Terrarium Trials” line of quests.

 

 

When you grow 3 Pristine Succulents, you will be able to collect bonus rewards.

 

 

Note: If you have Healthy combinations in your collection, you can retry the same combination to make it pristine. If successful, the same will be replaced in the collection and will also be counted for Bonus.

If the timer runs out before you grow the Bonsai, you can still grow it to Healthy condition and will still be included in your Bonsai collection.

 

 

Once you have enough Tools and Mega Mulch, click on the Grow Succulent button.

 

 

After the Succulent grows, click the Add to Collection button.

 

 

In the Succulents Collection, you will see each new Succulent combination that you grow.

 

 

There are 15 combinations that you can grow. Create them all and keep them on your farm forever!

 

 

To see your collection, click on the To see your collection, click on the View Showcase button. button.

 

 

You will be able to keep track of the number of unique combinations you have collected on the counter at the lower-left portion of the studio.

 

 

You start getting rewards when you reach specific milestones.

The Starry Collection!

The Appaloosa river has become host to a large school of Starfishes that got washed ashore. But putting them back in would just bring them back onshore again. Gus wants to house them temporarily and needs you to set up a place for them until the river settles down. Extend a helping hand and for your effort, you’ll get a baby Lakenvelder Mini Cow as your reward!

 

If you are level 15 or higher, the A Starry Collection! will appear. Click on the Start Building button to begin this feature.

 

 

To start building the Starfish Tank, you must first collect all the materials you need.

 

 

Ask your friends for help in building the Starfish Tank or hire some Builders using your Farm Bucks.

 

 

The completed Starfish Tank, which will be automatically placed outside your farm, will look like this:

 

 

The goal of this feature is to catch Starfish for the Starfish Tank. But first, you need to get some Nets before you can do that! Complete Tasks to earn Diving Tickets. Use those Diving Tickets to purchase Nets!

 

 

You can buy any combination of these 2 types of Nets. We’ll talk about their differences once we start catching starfishes.

 

 

Now that you’ve got all the tools you need, let’s catch some starfishes!

 

 

You can find the current requirements of the StarfishTank on the Collection Board here. Completing ALL of these orders will earn you 10 Starfish Tokens! If you manage to finish it within the Bonus Timer, you can earn three extra Starfish Tokens!

 

 

Keep track of your Starfish Tokens by checking the counter in the bottom left corner. You will win exciting rewards as you cross milestones by collecting Starfish Tokens!

 

 

Now for the moment, you’ve been waiting for! Let’s catch some Starfishes! Looks like we need to catch some Pink Sea Star, which can be found in Fisherman Bay. Hover over the island to see their native Starfish and to travel to those locations. You will need to spend Fuel to get there.

 

 

You can get Fuel by purchasing using Farm Bucks or by harvesting your Fuel Pump.

 

 

Once you’ve traveled to an island, you can start using Nets to catch Starfish! The Starfish Net will give you a random Starfish from that island or a Resource. Let’s try it out!

 

 

Hooray! You’ve found one Pink Sea Star!

 

 

You can use up to two Nets per island. Let’s try using the Golden Starfish Net this time.

 

 

Using the Golden Starfish Net will let you choose a Starfish of your choice from diving so you can easily complete your collection. Here we need to get 4 Sunflower Stars which can be found in Starry Lagoon, so let’s start with this one.

 

 

Perfect! You’ve caught the Sunflower Star!

 

 

You can also hover over the Task Card to view the exact type of the required Starfishes.

 

 

Once you’ve completed an order, you can click the Complete button to send it to the Starfish Tank!

 

 

NOTE: You can only send your Starfishes to the Tank if you’ve returned from the islands.

 

 

Collect enough Starfish Tokens to reach specific milestones and earn rewards upon reaching each milestone goal.
