The most exciting holiday season is to come, and Marie has plans to celebrate it in a big way! There will be festive goodies, winter markets, and parties galore! Holiday preparations and traditions are underway, and the FarmVille 2 family will need your expert help. To help you travel around, Marie has built a little train station right on your farm!
Hop on the Holiday Express, travel to locations, and help the FarmVille 2 folk with their holiday tasks! For your effort, you will be rewarded with the Holiday Hamlet - a farm full of resources just for you!
If you are level 15 or higher, the “The Holiday Express is here!” popup will appear. Click on the “Hear the whistle blow!” button to proceed with the feature.
Another popup will appear to give you a run-through of the feature. Click the Let's Go! Button.
Here you can view the amazing rewards you can receive with each Area that you complete. Begin with the feature by clicking on the Let's go! Button.
You will be directed to the next page wherein you can unlock the feature. Click on the Unlock your holiday journey to start.

You can also choose to begin later when the feature is released to everyone.
The Holiday Express will automatically be placed outside your farm near the flagpole.
Holiday Express Map
Once you have access, you’ll be able to start your journey on the Holiday Express and visit exciting Areas on the map. There are 10 Areas that you can visit on the map. Click on the arrow on the right side of the map to view the next set of Areas. To unlock an Area, you must first complete the Area ahead of it. When an Area is unlocked, click on the Visit Area button.
Holiday Express Mini-Games
In each Area, you will be helping out our FarmVille 2 family to finish their holiday tasks by playing mini-games. Complete the mini-games to earn holiday rewards, decorations and Keys to upgrade the Holiday Hamlet!
There are 3 types of mini-games repeating in the different Areas. To complete the Area, you must finish the mini-game.
For the first type of mini-game to be played in the first Area, you will need a Lens to find the objects hidden in the scene. You will earn one Lens after you have finished 3 farm tasks.
After earning a Lens, look for the object by tapping on the tile where it is hidden.
After completing the first mini-game for the first Area, get your rewards by clicking on the Claim Rewards button.
Continue looking for the hidden objects in the scene to earn the Postcard and more rewards!
Bonus Reward
You can also earn extra Keys when you complete an Area within the allotted time. Don’t forget to keep an eye on that timer!
Once the first Area is complete, Level 2 of the Holiday Hamlet is also unlocked. Click on the Visit now button which will take you to the Holiday Hamlet or Visit Later if you would like to continue playing.
For the second mini-game to be played in the next Area, elements will be added to a card so it’ll come alive as it is being designed. You will need elements for this type of mini-game. Unlock the elements by earning Crafting Scissors. You will need to craft three items to get a pair of Crafting Scissors.
The third type of mini-game is where you will have to fill up the Display Table with holiday items. For this type of mini-game, you will be using Display Tokens. To get one Display token, you need to finish three tasks.
Holiday Hamlet
The Holiday Hamlet can be upgraded up to Level 5. You can move up the Levels by collecting Keys.
Click on the Visit Holiday Hamlet button to view it and harvest resources.
In the Holiday Hamlet, you can harvest useful resources for your farm. It also has resourceful buildings that will be upgraded as you move up the Levels for your Holiday Hamlet. You can also harvest trees and crops, and purchase a few decorations or animals for your own farm. Earn more Keys and unlock levels to harvest more resources!
When you visit the Holiday Hamlet, make sure that you harvest its resources as you can only return after the next upgrade.
Holiday Express Postcards
The Postcards you earned are collected in the Travel Journal. Click on the View button to open the journal.
You can revisit your holiday journey through the Postcards you have collected. When you have collected 4 Postcards, you can claim an exciting reward!
