What’s the most awaited event during this season? You guessed it right! The Fall Fishing Tournament! is here once again. You must have all your gears ready to compete with the best fishermen in our county!
The tournament will put you with other farmers to see who wins the top spot! You’ll also be trying to beat your own personal score. So, build the Fall Tournament Shack and Fishing Tournament Spot in your farm. Achieve the highest score to win a baby Black Balwen Sheep, Amber Shovel and Trophies!
If you are level 15 or higher, the “The Fall Fishing Tournament!” popup will appear. Click on the “Place Building” button to begin the feature.
To build the Shack you must first collect all the materials you need.
Next, ask your friends for help or hire builders.
The finished Fall Tournament Shack, which you can place anywhere on your farm, will look like this:
While the finished Tournament Fishing Spot, which is automatically placed in the river, will look like this:
Click the Fishing Spot to start the tournament. There will be four types of fish that you can catch from four different parts of the river: Cod, Salmon, Pike, and Sturgeon. Each fish belongs to a different weight category.
Groundbait
To be able to go fishing, you must first prepare the area with Groundbait by clicking on the “Prep Area” button.
You can get Groundbait by crafting them and there are three types to choose from: Catch 3 Fish using Premium Groundbait, Catch 2 Fish using Special Groundbait, and Catch 1 Fish using Basic Groundbait.
Click on the Make button to start crafting if you have the complete ingredients. If you are lacking ingredients, don’t worry, as you can get Bait by harvesting fertilized Water Crops. Ask and Post for the Garlic Essence Vial and Fishing Beads. To plant the Corsican Hellebores purchase it from the General Store.
There is a waiting time before you can proceed to fish. Take note that each Fishing Area differs in the amount of time it takes to craft the Groundbait
While waiting, you can prepare another Fishing Area.
Once the waiting time is over, you can go catch a fish by clicking on the “Go Fishing” button
Tournament Point Scores
You can catch three fish by using the Premium Groundbait. These will be weighed to get the total Tournament Point Scores
Keep track of the Tournament Scores you’ve earned by clicking the counter at the lower left portion of the menu.
You will start earning rewards when you reach milestones in the Tournament. The yellow bar will mark your progress.
After you have collected 25 Tournament Point Scores, you are qualified to compete in the Fall Fishing Tournament!
Fall Fishing Tournament
After earning 25 Tournament Point Scores, the Scoreboard will appear in the upper left portion of the menu. Click on the “View More” button to see details.
On the left side of the Scoreboard, you will see the rankings of the farmers who are leading the tournament. At the end of the tournament, the top 3 farmers will get great rewards!
On the right side of the Scoreboard, you will see your personal score. This records the points you get for each type of Tournament Fish you catch. Strive to get the highest points for each fish to win rewards!
Ragworms
When you join the tournament, you’ll be rewarded with Ragworms that can boost the area where you are going fishing.
These Ragworms are used to lure larger fish, so you earn more Tournament Points. Click the Boost button to use the Ragworms.
Take note that Ragworms will help increase the Weight Points in your Leaderboard Score.
Make use of the Ragworms wisely as they last for only 24 hours.
Remember that King Ragworms will give an additional boost only to the Leaderboard Score and not to the milestone progress.
