Midsummer Festival Fundraiser!

Oh, what great fun! Marie is organizing a Midsummer Festival to raise some funds. But you know what made it more exciting? It’s now going to be a contest as Walter, Gus, and Rusty are all eager to help. They formed 3 teams that will be competing to see who can do the most work in the 27 days before the Festival begins. Whose team will you join?

If you are level 25 or higher, the “Midsummer Festival Fundraiser!” popup will appear. Click on the “Let’s get started!” button to find out more about this feature. 

 

 

The fundraiser building, which you can place anywhere in your farm, will look like this:

 

 

You will then be asked to pick a team. The surprise is that you won’t know whose team you joined until you opened the paper. So, go ahead and choose! 

 

 

To confirm your choice, click on the Yes button.

 

 

You will receive a welcome note from your team! You are going to have a great fun beating the others while making the Festival great fun for the kids. 

 

 

The competition is made up of 9 rounds and each round must be completed within 3 days. To win the contest, your team must win the most rounds. 

 

 

You will be earning Festival Supplies when you complete tasks. Take note that the supplies will reset after each round. 

 

 

Get as many Festival Supplies so you can contribute to the team. These supplies will also unlock rewards shown below the menu. These rewards can be collected up to 3 times! 

 

 

After each round, teams will be awarded Fundraiser Points based on the Festival Supplies collected. The team with the highest Supplies will collect most Points! 

 

 

By the end of round 9, the team with the highest Fundraiser Points, wins the competition!

The rewards are: 16 Fundraiser Points for 1st Place, 9 Fundraiser Points for 2nd Place, and 5 Fundraiser Points for 3rd Place. 

 

 

Start completing tasks to earn Festival Supplies. You can keep track of the supplies you have collected by checking the counter on the lower left portion of the menu. 

 

 

You start getting these rewards when you reach a milestone in the Festival Supplies collection:

600 Festival Supplies = 30 Minutes Free Water Time Certificate

1200 Festival Supplies = Baby Grey Swiss Fox Rabbit

1800 Festival Supplies = 3 Use Speed Grow Machine (This expires in 7 days.)

2400 Festival Supplies = Level Up Certificate

3000 Festival Supplies = Baby Mini Boulonnais Horse (Pedigree 3)

Upon reaching a specific milestone, you can collect and share the rewards! 

 

 

See how well your team is doing in each round by checking the team rankings shown in the middle part of the menu. 

 

 

After three days, the team with the most number of Festival Supplies will win Fundraiser Points. 

 

 

You will see how your team fared after the end of each round in the current Team Rankings. Collect 300 Festival Supplies to be eligible for team rewards.

Please note that if you do not contribute a minimum of 300 Supplies, then you don’t get the rewards at the end of the feature. 

 

 

When Round 2 begins, you will be able to contribute bonus Supplies by earning a Gumball. You will earn this item after you have completed the sixth task for the round. 

 

 

These Gumballs will provide you with extra Festival Supplies! 

 

 

After each round, the tasks to get Gumballs will reset. 

 

 

Upon reaching on the last day of round 3, the Fundraiser Happy Hours will start for the competition. 

 

 

During this period, you can collect twice as many supplies when you complete tasks. 

 

 

When can you expect Happy Hours? This will occur on the last day of each round.

The Father’s Day Fishing Tournament!

It’s Father’s Day! This is a great time for some bonding moments between dads and sons. For this special occasion, Walter and Percy has registered under the Father-Son category for the Father’s Day Fishing Tournament. You and all the county folks are welcome to join the competition. How?

Just build the Fishing Tournament Shack and Tournament Fishing Spot in your farm. You can then challenge other farmers while also be trying to beat your own personal score. Give it your best shot to win the top spot and get a baby Belgian Red Cow, Amber Shovel and trophies!

If you are level 15 or higher, “The Father’s Day Fishing Tournament!” popup will appear. Click on the “Place Building” button to begin this feature. 

Build the shack and fishing spot by first collecting all the materials you need.

Next, ask your friends for help or hire builders.

The finished Fishing Tournament Shack, which you can place anywhere in your farm, will look like this:

Begin participating in the tournament by clicking on the fishing spot. There are four types of fish that you can catch in the different parts of the river: Cod, Salmon, Pike, and Sturgeon. Take note that each fish belongs to a different weight category.

Groundbait

Before you can go fishing in any area in the river, you must first prepare it. To prepare the area, you’ll be using Groundbait. Click on the “Prep Area” button to proceed.

How do you get Groundbait? This item can be crafted and there are 3 types of Groundbait that you can craft: Catch 3 Fish using Premium Groundbait, Catch 2 Fish using Special Groundbait, and Catch 1 Fish using Basic Groundbait.

Do not worry if you need materials for crafting as there are easy ways to get them. For the bait, you can harvest fertilized water crops. While you can ask friends for help or buy the Bread Crumbs and Sweetcorn Powder. As for the Alkali Bullrush, you can either plant and dry them in the Crop Dryer or purchase them using Farm bucks.

There is a waiting period for the Groundbait to be made before it can be used. Take note that each fishing area differs in the amount of time it takes to craft the Groundbait.

You can prepare another part of the river while waiting for the Groundbait to be crafted.

After the Groundbait is crafted, you can proceed to fish by clicking on the “Go Fishing” button.

Tournament Point Scores

Great! You were able to catch three fish by using the Premium Groundbait. The fish you caught will then be weighed to get the total Tournament Point Scores.

Keep track of how many Tournament Point Scores you have earned so far by checking the meter on the lower left portion of the menu.

 

Stack up those points to get rewards when you reach specific milestones! The yellow bar will mark your progress.

Once you have collected 115 Tournament Point Scores, you are then qualified to join the Father’s Day Fishing Tournament!

Father’s Day Fishing Tournament

After getting 115 Tournament Point Scores, the Scoreboard will be added in the upper left portion of the menu. You’ll be able to see the top three players in the tournament. To see details, click on the “View More” button.

The overall ranking of farmers in the tournament is shown on the left portion of the menu. The top three farmers at the end of the tournament will get rewards.

Your personal score can be seen on the right side of the Scoreboard. The list shows the points you’ve earned for each type of fish you caught in the tournament. Get the highest points for each fish to win rewards!

Ragworms

Upon joining the tournament, you’ll be rewarded with Ragworms. 

You can use Ragworms to lure larger fish so you earn more tournament points.

Ragworms last for only 24 hours, so use them wisely! 

You can attract even larger fish by upgrading the Ragworms.

There’s a lot of great fish that you can catch and loads of awesome rewards to win in the tournament, so join now!

FarmVille 2 Launcher by Zynga

Hello, Farmers!

FarmVille 2 runs on Adobe Flash, and we are aware that you have had trouble accessing your farm since web browsers started withdrawing support for Flash. Our secure FarmVille 2 Launcher is designed to fix this for you. Once you have it installed, you can avoid the hassle of allowing Flash to run every time you load the game or changing your browser settings to enable Flash.

The Launcher is currently only available to users of Windows 7 and 10, using Chrome and Firefox Browser and on Facebook only. We are working on making it available on other platforms soon. 

 

 

Here are the steps to install the FarmVille 2 Launcher on your Chrome Browser!

Step 1:

When you load FarmVille 2, you will see this message. You will need to accept Zynga’s Terms of Service to proceed to the next step.

 

 

Step 2:

Once you accept Zynga’s Terms of Service, click on the “Download & Install” button. 

 

 

Step 3:

Click on the downloaded file on the bottom-left corner of your screen. Doing this will install the FarmVille 2 Launcher for you. 

 

 

Step 4:

Reload FarmVille 2 and get cool rewards! 

 

 

 

What will happen if I ignore or accidentally close the FarmVille 2 Launcher pop-up?

Once the pop-up is ignored or closed, an icon that says "Important Notice!" will appear on the left side of the game screen. By clicking on this, you will be able to re-trigger the FarmVille 2 Launcher pop-up and get started with the installation process. This icon will then disappear upon fully installing the FarmVille 2 Launcher.

Install Air MOTD - Why am I seeing this?

FarmVille 2 runs on Adobe Flash, and we are aware that some farmers have had trouble accessing their farms since web browsers started revoking support for Flash. To ensure that our players can keep attending to their farm, we developed our secure FarmVille 2 Launcher. 

 

What is FV2 Launcher?

This is an extension that when installed, allows a player to run the game without the need for Flash Player. This will help you to have better gaming experience without any browser specific complications

 

How is FV2 Launcher going to help me?  Why do we need FV2 Launcher?

Forget those pop-ups that require enabling Flash Player - the FarmVille 2 Launcher allows the farmers to load their game even without Flash installed on their browsers.

 

How is it different from what I had before? Which is Flash!

The Launcher lets you run FarmVille 2 without having to enable the Flash Player. Additionally, this allows the game to run smoother and faster since the Launcher is built and developed exclusively for hassle free game play

 

Best Friends Forever!

Marie is reuniting with her childhood friend Sprightly Susie after many years and Eddie’s best friend Tenacious Tony is flying in to celebrate Best Friends Day. They want to recall all the games they would play together and relive the memories they had buried away in time capsules. Celebrate with them by taking a trip down memory lane.

Be at least Level 12 and receive the pop-up invitation to Best Friends Forever. If you don’t receive it, you might need to force-close or reboot your device first.

 

Phase 3 will be unlocked for you if you’re at least Level 15, Phase 4 if Level 17, and Phase 5 if Level 18.

 

This crafting event runs from Wednesday, May 23rd until Sunday, June 10th. You have 19 days to work on the quests and win Eddie’s Buddy as an extra Farm Hand for a limited time.

 

 

Head over to the Childhood Playground situated near Eagle Eye Eddie's hangar to begin Best Friends Forever.

 

 

In the course of this trip down memory lane, Keepsake Boxes are up for grabs. They will contain items helpful for your next quests, like for exploring the Mine, Pond, etc.

 

Temporary Place of Interest: Time Capsule Site

 

The Time Capsule Site will serve as your resource area for all the items of the recipes that are part of this event. For example, from here you can collect the Cream of Tartar for Snickerdoodle Cookies in Phase 1.

Sprightly Susie and Tenacious Tony are the Farm Hands available for purchase to assist you in Best Friends Forever. Have them join you and you’ll easily find more of the rare event items!

 

By the way, Sprightly Susie and Tenacious Tony are temporary Farm Hands. They will have to bid you farewell once the event ends.

The Fortnight of Helping

Here’s a bit of good news! The Fortnight of Helping is here to stay! This is definitely a great boost to our farms as we all need a helping hand from time to time.

If you are level 25 or higher, the “Upgrade Your Farm’s Water Capacity to 45!” popup will appear. Click on the “Show Me How!” button to learn more about this exciting feature. 

 

 

With this feature you can ask other farmers to help you with hard to finish tasks. To proceed, click on the arrow on the right of the screen. 

 

 

Then, you can also help other farmers with their tasks. Again, click on the click on the arrow on the right of the screen to know more. 

 

 

Help other farmers to increase your farm’s water capacity by 15 extra water, each week! Here’s a FREE trial of the increased water capacity for you!

 

 

The FarmVille’s Helping Hand is then automatically placed outside your farm. Click on the building to see what’s in store for you! 

 

 

Ask for Help

In the menu, you’ll be able to see three tabs. The second tab is where you can ask for help. 

 

 

There will be two tasks that you can ask for help at the same time. 

 

 

Each request you make will cost you Mentor Points. 

 

 

You can see how many Mentor Points you have by checking the counter on the upper right side of the menu. 

 

 

Mentor Points

How do you get the Mentor Points that you’ll be using for requests? Easy as pie! All you have to do is get in your farm each day! 

 

 

Then the popup will appear and you can claim your Mentor Points! 

 

 

You can also earn Mentor Points by helping other farmers with their tasks. 

 

 

Mentor Lobby

The first tab in the menu is the Mentor Lobby. 

 

 

This is where you can check for the tasks that other farmers need help with. Take note that each task needs to be completed within 24 hours so you can earn Mentor Points. 

 

 

Weekly Goals

In the Mentor Lobby, you’ll also be able to see your Weekly Goals. 

 

 

Each of the goal has a bar that you need to fill up with Mentor Points to win a reward. 

 

 

Once a goal is completed, your farm’s capacity to produce water increases until the weekly timer resets. 

 

 

To get more Mentor Points for a task, go on a daily streak of helping other farmers. 

 

 

Click on the Learn More button on the lower left portion of the menu to know about the daily streak. 

 

 

The Mentor Streak Bonus window shows the bonus Mentor Points that you’ll receive for helping other farmers’ tasks. Complete their tasks every day to increasingly earn more bonus Mentor Points for tasks completed. 

 

 

You can now see the tasks that you can help with. To see the other tasks, simply scroll down the list. Take note that each task gives out a different number of Mentor Points. 

 

 

The tasks you’ve selected will be displayed on the upper part of the menu. Again, remember that each task needs to be completed within 24 hours. 

 

 

Once you’ve completed the task, you’ll get the Mentor Points. 

 

 

You’ll also be able to send the farmers you helped with an encouragement to keep working on their farms. Select which encouragement you want to give, then click on the Send button. 

 

 

Wall of Fame

The Wall of Fame showcases star Mentors of the county who have helped the community, completing their tasks. We would love to see you there sometime!

Be A Well Wisher!

Marie’s favorite bedtime story as a child was the one of how her grandparents fell in love. They’d both tossed coins into a beautiful wishing well and wished for true love. It was the most romantic story Marie had ever heard! While she was supervising the bookbinding for the library, she came across an image of an old well that looked exactly the way she’d imagined in the story! Marie’s inspired to recreate the wishing well but she’ll need your expert help!

Build a Floral Wishing Well with Marie and she’ll give you a baby Apricot Hedgehog as your reward!

If you are level 15 or higher, the “Be A Well Wisher!” popup will appear. Click on the “Start Building” button to start the feature.

 

 

To build the Design Workshop, you need to collect all the materials you will use.

 

 

Then, ask your friends for help or hire builders.

 

 

The finished workshop, which is automatically placed outside your farm, will look like this:

 

 

The building blueprint for the Wishing Well is found on the right side of the menu.

 

 

This is no ordinary wishing well as you can customize it by choosing the design you want for each part. To be able to customize it, the parts of the well need to unlocked and you can do this by collecting Design Points.

 

 

The parts of the well are unlocked one at a time. You must unlock the Base before you unlock the next part of your well. After collecting enough Design Points, the Base is unlocked and you can toggle between the buttons so you can choose which of the 2 designs you like for your Floral Wishing Well.

 

 

Collecting Design Points is easy. How? Here are four ways to do it:

1. Complete the tasks shown on the task shelves on the left side of the Workshop.

 

 

The tasks are still locked and to make them accessible, you need to raise or get adult Pigs.

 

 

These Pigs will not only unlock tasks but will also provide Marble Chips which you will need for crafting items in your tasks. 

 

 

To get Marble Chips, just feed your Pigs. 

 

 

If you have enough Pigs on your farm, you can start on the tasks. If you still need Pigs, click on the Get Pigs button. 

 

 

Once you have enough Pigs, some tasks in the shelf are unlocked and you can begin completing them. Take note that each task gives out a different number of Design Points. 

 

 

2. Complete the “Tale as Old as Time!” line of quests. 

 

 

3. Click on Post so your friends can send you some Design Points 

 

 

4. Purchase Design Points using Farm Bucks. 

 

 

The Design Points counter is found on the lower left corner of the menu so you can always check how many you have collected. 

 

 

You can start earning rewards when you reach specific milestones in the workshop. Reaching these milestones also unlocks parts of the Floral Wishing Well. 

 

 

20 Design Points = unlocks the Base part

65 Design Points = Ornas Birch Tree

125 Design Points = unlocks the Pail Vines part

230 Design Points = Resource Pack

420 Design Points = unlocks the Roof part, baby Apricot Hedgehog, and 10 Favors

Mothers Know Best

It's Mother's Day in FarmVille, and there's no better way to celebrate it than making a little pop-up book that features the undying love of moms all around the world!

If you are at least level 12, you will be invited to Mother's Day Stories. You will need to force close the game, or even reboot your device to see the feature.

Start the Mother's Day Stories feature by tapping the small pen located beside Nick's Trailer. This small pen houses one of each animals featured in our Mother's Day picture book.



Mother's Day Stories will run from May 9th until June 17th, giving you 40 days to complete all 9 pages and win the rewards!

After completing the first page, you will have the option to choose between two playstyles: Normal and Challenge Mode.

There are 12 task in each page (13 for Challenge Mode). Completing all 9 pages will award you with various rewards, including a special visit from Mother Hubbard who will stay at your farm for 7 days! (+8 days if you complete all pages in Challenge Mode)


Mother Hubbard

Mother Hubbard lets you pick an item that you wish to get; and she will try to find as many of those items as she can.

 

 

Once you have picked the item that you wish to get, Mother Hubbard goes out to look for them, then comes back with what she found. She will then ask you to choose among her finds.

If you wish to ask for another item, simply tap on the "No Thanks" button; and she will ask you to choose from the list of items again.

 

Once a task is completed. Mother Hubbard will take a short nap before you can get her to look items for you.

Bookbinding Corner

Rusty had just been to the FarmVille Library to look up books on administration. What he found there was terribly disappointing − the oldest section of the Library is in disrepair, and priceless old books are in tatters!

He’s planning to renovate the library and rebind the books. This is a great way to prove himself to the townsfolk before he runs for Deputy Mayor! It will take a lot of work, of course, and he could really use your help. Lend a hand by building a Bookbinding Corner to restore old books, and you’ll be rewarded with a baby Dall Ram!

If you are level 15 or higher, the “Rebound Effect!” popup will appear. Click on the “Place Building” button to begin the feature.

 

 

 

To build the Bookbinding Corner, you must collect all the materials you need.

 

 

Then, ask your friends for help or hire builders.

 

 

The finished Bookbinding Corner, which you can place anywhere on your farm, will look like this:

 

 

You can start restoring books by clicking on the building. To rebind the books, you’ll need Binding Awls. You can collect this item in four simple ways:

1. Craft the items shown in the menu. Note that each item gives out a different number of Binding Awls.

 

 

Click on the item you want to make, and the crafting window will appear. If you have all the materials, you can craft the item by clicking on the Make button.

 

 

If you are in need of a material, you can find out how to get it by hovering over the image.

 

 

You can also get materials by clicking on the Ask/ Post or Call My Co-op buttons.

 

 

To see the other items that you can craft, just click on the left or right arrow. Some items are still locked and they will be accessible in the coming weeks.

 

 

2. Complete quests in the “Walter Worries” line of quests. 

 

 

3. Post a request on your Wall.

 

 

4. Buy Binding Awls using Farm Bucks.

 

 

You can keep track of the number of Binding Awls you’ve collected by checking the two counters in the Bookbinding Corner. There’s a counter on the right side of the menu that tells you the time remaining before the feature expires. You can also check Rusty’s progress at the bottom of the menu.

The FarmVille Derby!

Ready...Get set...Go! Here comes FarmVille’s Derby and our horses are raring to race! Start training them to join the derby and compete against other farmers’ steeds. You will have the chance to earn Trophies and other great rewards!

If you are level 15 or higher, “The FarmVille Derby Is Here!” popup will appear. Click on the “Let’s go!” button to learn more about this exciting feature. 

 

 

At the start of the feature, Marie will provide you with a high-spirited filly that she has trained. She will also give you the stable where you can train your horses.

 

 

Click on the stable to see the Champion Horse that you will train.

 

 

Training your horse

You will be training your horse for 3 vital stats: Strength, Speed and Stamina.

 

 

To practice your horse click on the Train button.

 

 

Increase the level of the 3 stats by feeding your horse with three special kinds of race feed.

 

 

Each type of race feed raises a specific stat.

 

 

It is important to check the yellow bar to see the amount of race feed you’re giving your horse.

 

 

A full bar will raise that specific stat by one point.

 

 

You need to feed your horse to raise its stat a little.

 

 

Feeding the horse

To feed your horse, click on the up arrows. 

 

 

Take note that you can feed the horse for a total of 200 race feed each training period.

 

 

Choose wisely what combination of stats you will increase for your horse so it won’t exceed the 200 race feed limit.

 

 

How to get race feed

You can get race feed by visiting the stable daily.

 

 

You can check for the available feed by clicking on the chest icon in the stable.

 

 

You can also buy a specific type of race feed by using Favors or Fam bucks.

 

 

If you want to give your horse a combination of race feed in a single feed, you can buy Racing Treats.

 

 

You can earn more race feed by completing farm tasks. Each farm task will reward you with a race feed for a specific stat.

 

 

After feeding the horse, you can start practicing it by clicking on the “Start Training” button.

 

 

There’s a waiting time for training the horse and you could use this period to collect more race feed.

 

 

The Race

After the training is done, click on the “Race Now” button to see how your horse will fare as it competes with other horses.

 

 

You will be asked to choose an opponent for a one-on-one race.

 

 

You will also choose the racetrack that you will use. Each racetrack is suitable for a specific stat.

 

 

After making the selection, you can watch your horse in the derby.

 

 

And you can see the race the results. 

 

 

After the race, your horse tires out and the stat decreases a little. So, train them gain to increase the stats again.

 

 

Adding your own horse in the stable

After you earned 5 trophies you can now add your own horse to train in the stable.

 

 

You can be able to choose from the horses in your farm.

 

 

You can now start training it in your stable.

 

 

After training, you can now challenge a friend’s horse to a race. 

 

 

And after the race, you can view the results.

 

 

Stable fed horse vs Farm fed horse

There’s a difference between having fed a horse with normal feed in your farm and a horse fed with race feed in the stable.

To have a horse that can run the most number of races, it must be fed with only race feed in the stable.

 

 

While a farm horse fed with ordinary feed outside the racing stable will run fewer races before it retires.

 

 

Retirement

The yellow sections around the horse will show the number of races your horse can run before retiring.

 

 

After the horse retires, it will go up 1 pedigree.

 

 

These pedigreed horses can be used to breed new racehorses that will have higher stats.

 

 

Derby Rewards

To win rewards, you must move up the derby tiers.

 

 

Win more Trophies to get higher in the Racing Tiers.

 

 

You can earn more trophies when you compete with tougher opponents. 

 

 

The Trophies you earn are shown in the middle of the stable. Get Trophies when you win races. However, you can also lose Trophies when you lose races.

 

 

You will move up or down the tier when you either win or lose a race. Take note that if you are still unranked in the tier, you will not lose Trophies.

 

 

Earn Trophies while you are not in your farm

You can still earn Trophies even if you are currently not in your farm.

 

 

This is because your Champion horse can still be challenged by other farmers’ steeds.

 

 

These races will earn your horse more Trophies if it wins!

 

 

But do not worry! If your horse does lose a race, you will not lose Trophies. 

 

 

And if you lost the race, you can rechallenge your horse’s opponent.

 

 

So, keep your Champion horse fit for the races! 

 

 

You can check how your Champion horse did in the race.

Mother’s Day Cooking Contest

This Mother’s Day, our Farm Hands have invited their mothers to judge a special cooking contest! They will have a luxurious retreat and spa treatment while their children are hard at work. Then they will taste the fine food prepared especially for them.

Players who are Level 12 or higher will receive a pop-up invitation to the Mother’s Day Cooking Contest.  If you don’t receive this update, simply force close your game.


Set the event in motion by going to the Cooking Arena beside Eagle Eye Eddie's hangar. In this area, you can gather Cook-off points which will appear on the Leaderboard.

Our Mother’s Day Cooking Contest will run from May 9^th to May 20^th and will have 2 stages. You will have 11 days to beat your friends in ruling the Leaderboard.

Leaderboard

The trophy tab will show you the Leaderboard that you are on. Note that you and all your friends will not be on the same Leaderboard. For a fairer ranking, you will be among others with the same level. The Leaderboard tab will show your Cook-off Points and rank: Gold, Silver or Bronze.

Mystery Box: Shopping Bag

Shopping Bags are filled each time you earn Cook-off Points. The more Shopping Bags you fill, the more precious items you win!

Boosts: Silver Nail Polish and Gold Nail Polish

You can boost the amount of Cook-off Points by 50% using coins or by 100% with keys. There will be a timer once a boost is activated and a short cool-down period on when you can buy another boost. Boosts last for an hour, and you can only select one boost at a time (prices subject to change based on level).
