Even the most talented farmers can use a helping hand from time to time. Whether it's some extra water or another plow to harvest your crops, a great Neighbor can make all the difference when you're having a tough day on the farm.

Now that Co-ops have been released, it's more important than ever to make sure you have neighbors you can rely on! (Learn more about Co-ops here: Farm Co-ops Guide)

 

On Fridays, FarmVille 2 invites you to participate in Add Me Friday. We know that there are Farmers out there looking for neighbors just as active as they are, and it's our goal to bring you together.

It's easy! Leave a comment with a link to your Facebook profile and a message to future Neighbors!

• Any comment in violation of the Terms of Service will be removed. A link to the Terms of Service can be found HERE.

• Include your profile link, or people won't be able to add you! (Copy/paste your Facebook URL).

• Let others know what kind of farmer you are, and what kind of Neighbors you are looking for. Everyone plays FarmVille 2 differently, so this information can be important!

The FarmVille Country Music Festival!

Johnny, Eagle Eye Eddie, and Pike are gettin' the band back together. They are going to apply to the Annual FarmVille Music Festival. Once again, Marie has pulled some strings and gotten them in and playing alongside some of the best touring acts around! Music fans from all over are heading back to your farm for the concert event of the year and it's up to you to make sure everything works together in perfect harmony.

 

If you are at least level 13, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the FarmVille Country Music Festival! You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device's memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

 

 

Note: You will need to reach Level 15 to unlock Phase 3, and Level 18 to play phases 4 and 5.

 

You will have until 10/16/2016 to complete the FarmVille Country Music Festival quests, and win the event exclusive Cool Cat, which will stay with you for a month!

 

 

Start off the quests by visiting the Event Green located behind Eagle Eye Eddie's airplane. The stage is set in an open field with a ticket booth, lights, and giant speakers!

 

 

There will be Guitar cases along the way that will give out rewards that will help in the next phase. Some rewards will be items needed to explore the Mine, Pond, etc. 

 

 

Temporary Place of Interest: Food Truck Park

 

The Food Truck Park is a temporary area that will drop the different items needed in each recipe. For example, it will drop Paper Food Tray, which you will need in Phase 1.

You have the option to purchase the acoustic guitar-playing cowgirl, Loretta, and/or the cowboy musician, Hank, as Farm Hands to help you out in the FarmVille Country Music Festival. The FarmVille Library

 

Want to help kids in need and get their hands on their first books and inculcate a reading habit?

“First Book” provides access to new books for children in need. First Book is transforming the lives of children in need and elevating the quality of education by making new, high-quality books available on an ongoing basis. So let’s get together with the community to build a library near the orphanage. In return, you can get a Speed-Grow machine, a Bountiful Tree and other great rewards.

If you are level 16, the "The FarmVille Library!" popup will appear. Click on the "I’m ready!" button to proceed with the feature.

 

 

You can access the feature by clicking The Farmville Library icon on the upper left hand corner of your screen.

 

 

This is a community oriented event so every contribution you make counts!

 

 

Complete the task to gain supplies toward the Farmville Library.

 

 

Rewards will unlock when the community reaches the milestone from the Community Goal. To be qualified to claim the community rewards, you will need to have contributed sufficient supplies to achieve the intended target.

 

 

Keep track of your personal goals while also earning great rewards. Complete all 3 stages to be eligible for the community rewards and everyone in the community can claim it!

 

 

A total of 7 rewards can be claimed from completing the Farmville Library. 3 from the Community Rewards and 4 from the personal progress.

Welcome to FarmVille, Rusty!

 

Yay! Rusty’s here! The famous lead singer of the Rusty Nails band, wants to learn how to handle animals and brush up on his farm skills. Let’s help by building a Farm Academy and collecting Lesson Notes. A baby Milking Shorthorn Cow awaits as your reward.

If you are level 15, the "Welcome to FarmVille, Rusty!" pop-up will appear. Click on the "Build Farm Academy" button and the building frame is automatically placed outside your farm near the foraging area.

 

 

To start building, collect all the materials you need.

 

 

Next, ask your friends to be builders or you can hire them.

 

 

The finished Farm Academy will look like this.

There are three ways to collect Lesson Notes. One way is to complete farm lessons. When choosing which farm lesson you would like Rusty to learn, please take note that each lesson gives out a different number of Lesson Notes.

 

 

Click on the lesson you’ve chosen to see the tasks that needs to be completed. To see the tasks for the other lessons, simply click on the left or right arrows.

 

 

After completing the tasks you’ll be given rewards that you can share.

 

 

You’ll also be able to watch while Rusty practice the farm skill that he needs to learn.

 

 

The two other ways to collect Lesson Notes are by asking your friends for help and by purchasing Lesson Notes.

 

 

You can keep track of how many Lesson Notes you’ve already collected by checking the counter at the lower left corner of the menu.

 

 

You start earning rewards when you’ve reached specific milestones.

The Biplane Upgrade!

 

Need additional help in watering or fertilizing your plots or trees? Look no further, here comes the Biplane upgrade!

Click on the "Let’s Go!" button to proceed with the feature.

 

 

The Biplane upgrade has 2 levels. The first level will let you fertilize your plots and trees without fuel.

To do so, simply hover your mouse to your watered plots or trees and click on the Biplane button. Afterwards, drag your mouse to the desired area.

 

 

The level 2 Biplane will let you water your dry plots or trees without using fuel.

To start, simply hover your mouse to your unwatered plots or trees and click on the Biplane button. Afterwards, drag your mouse to the area you wish to use it on.

 

 

You will not only save up on Fuel by using the upgraded Biplane, but you will also have a chance to win back fertilizer or water every time you use it!

Once you go through with the tutorial, you will have an option to early unlock the upgraded Biplane!

 

 

Once you have the early access, the Biplane can be accessed through here:

 

 

When you click on it, you will have the option to Fertilize or Water your crops using your level 2 upgraded Biplane.

The FarmVille Games!

The First Annual FarmVille Games are here and it's time to show what you're made of! Compete in fun-filled farm games and go for the gold!

If you are at least level 12, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the FarmVille Games! You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device's memory. You may even need to reboot your device.



Start off the quests by visiting the FarmVille Games Stadium, located behind Eagle Eye Eddie's airplane. The Event HQ is where you earn Style points, and display the leaderboard.



The FarmVille Games start on 9/14/2016. It has 2 stages, giving you a total of 12 days to compete with players for the top leaderboard position and complete the FarmVille Games quests.

The top 5 players at the end of each stage get to earn the exclusive Greyhound Farm Hand. Those ending up in the Silver tier will get  Gold Stamps, Padlocks, and Keys, while players in the Bronze tier will get Silver Stamps, Padlocks, and Golden Gloves!  

The 2nd Stage will start on 9/20/2016, giving you another shot to win the Greyhound as a Farm Hand. If you have won the Greyhound from the first stage, this stage will give you the chance to upgrade her to a Tracksuit Greyhound.

Note: You will only be able to earn one of the rewards, not all three! Your rank on the last day of the event determines the reward you will receive!



The FarmVille Games Stadium is located behind Eagle Eye Eddie. You will see 3 orders at a time that either can be harvested (crops), or crafted. Each item requested will have a different timer to allow you time to get the items needed.

Tip: Check the Farm Stand often to see if your friends are selling what you need.



Boosts: Gold and Silver Torches

You can boost the amount of Sytle points by 50% for coins, or by 100% with keys. There will be a timer once a boost is activated and a short cool-down period when you can buy another boost. Boosts will last 1 hour, and you can only select one boost at a time. (prices subject to change based on level)

Leaderboard:

 

The second tab will show you the leaderboard that you are in. Not everyone you know will be in the same leaderboard. The leaderboard tab will tell you which prize category you are currently in (Gold, Silver, or Bronze). You can also see how you rank among your friends. To be fair to all, you will be in a leaderboard with others of the same level. 

Rewards:

 

You will see 3 different rewards that are broken into tiers. If you are in the top (Gold) portion of your leaderboard on the final day of the event, you will get the exclusive Greyhound Farm Hand. If you are in the middle tier (Silver) at the end of the event, you will receive 2 Gold Stamps, 2 Padlocks and 10 Keys. The lowest tier (Bronze) will reward you with 1 Silver Stamp, a Padlock, and 5 Golden Gloves. You will only receive one of the rewards at the end, not all three.



Temporary Place of Interest: Training Field

Across the road from the Event HQ is the Training Field. You can send up to 3 Farm Hands here to get Event items such as Ripe Watermelon, Almonds, and Rubber Extract.

Ripe Watermelon: Training Field, Grandma's Glade, and Prized Animals

Almonds: Training Field, and Merryweather Mine

Rubber Extract: Training Field, Pappy's Pond, Mallard Mill, and the Cove.

Tip: Crafted items that need these ingredients will be worth higher Style points! Make sure to have plenty of these items to help you move up on the leaderboard!

Purchase the Tracksuit-wearing Kyle, and Trainer Tina to help you during the FarmVille Games. They will help you find the needed rare event items, and will leave your farm once the event ends.

The Fly Tying Station

 

The weather is just so perfect today, isn’t it? It’s also perfect for fly fishing! Now let’s go help Walter make some fly fishing lures and get a cute Baby Red Angeln Saddleback Pig as a reward!

If you are level 15, the "Looking So Fly" pop-up will appear. Click on the "Place Fly Tying Station" button to start this feature.

 

 

Collect all the building materials to needed to build it.

 

 

Invite your friends or hire them as your builder to complete it.

 

 

This is how it would like when it’s done:

 

 

The Fly Tying Station needs at least 5 Non-Prized Adult Pheasants on your farm. If you don't have enough, this pop-up will appear to let you know how many you're still missing. Click the "See More Pheasants!" button to check on all available Pheasants from the General Store.

Note: The more Pheasants you have on your Farm, the more chances of winning.

 

 

Click the Fly Tying Station to access the menu. There are three sets of items that you need to complete: Dry Files, Wet Files, and Steelhead.

 

 

Contour Feather is what makes the Fly Tying Station run and there are four ways to collect them. First is by feeding your Non-Prized Adult Pheasants. You can also share it your friends. Second is by purchasing it with Farmbucks.

 

 

Third is by crafting it from your Crafting Workshop. Brown Feather and Silk are need for your materials.

 

 

Lastly, you can get it as a reward from the “Of Fish and Fowl” line of quests.

 

 

If you have completed a particular set of Flies, you will receive an additional Bonus item if you collect any more of them!

 

 

Collect all sets of Files to get a Baby Red Angeln Saddleback Pig plus 10 Favors!

 

 

Note: You can re-do the feature to get another Baby Red Angeln Saddleback. Extra Files collected from a completed set won't go towards your Inventory and will not count for the next reward completion.
