New Crafting Building Updates

 

 

Crafting is now easier! The Kitchen, the Workshop, and the Kiln have all been updated with a new menu, which will improve your crafting experience. See below for all of the details.

 

Note: The updated Crafting Menu is a complex feature, which touches many elements in the game. We will be slowly releasing this feature out to all players over the upcoming months. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding at this time.

  

If you are level 5 or higher, you will see the following pop-up. Click on the "Check it out" button and you'll be taken to the updated Crafting Menu. 

 

  

 

The New Crafting Menu:

The updated menu shows you all of the Ingredients you need for any particular Recipe:

  

 

 

A. The button to use when you want to craft that particular item. Note: This button will turn green if you have all of the resources required and will turn grey if you do not have all of the resources required to craft the Recipe(s).
B. The total Power required to craft that particular Recipe.
C. Click on this button to view the Basic Recipe Chain(s) of that particular item.
D. The number of that particular item you have in your Inventory, which counts towards an Order from the Order Board.
E. Click on this button to return to the main menu of that particular Crafting Building.
F. Click on this button to request help from your Co-op.
G. The number of that particular Ingredient you have in your Inventory. A green checkmark will indicate that you have enough of the required Ingredients in your Inventory, which includes the Basic Recipe Ingredients. Note: If you do not have that Ingredient in your Inventory, click on the blue button to work towards obtaining it (e.g. Plant, Feed, Post, Ask, Do Job, or other action).
H. The number of Power you have available to use for crafting.
I.   Click on this button to purchase Power.

 

 

Additional Information:

• Clicking on the “Make #” button will automatically use the Ingredient(s) displayed below the Recipe. This also includes the Basic Recipe Ingredients.
• The Crafting Building will automatically use the available Power from your Windmill or Furnace if you run out while crafting.
• If you do not have enough Power to craft the entire Recipe (including the basic Recipes), the game will let you know via a popup.

HOW TO ENTER

You can enter the following way during the Promotion Period:

• Correctly answer the bird watching related trivia questions on the FV2 Facebook fan page or Twitter (@farmville2) during the defined time period and you will be entered to win a prize.

 

Each correct answer will be entered into the drawing.  Limit ten (10) entries per person.

 

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION

If there are sufficient eligible entries, there will be a total of ten (10) winners following the end of the Promotion Period.  Within seven (7) days after the Promotion Period, ten (10) winners will be drawn at random from among all eligible entries received.  Potential winners will be notified via Facebook post on the FarmVille 2 fan page within three (3) days of the drawing date. Winners will have their accounts automatically credited with the prize.  Five (5) alternate drawings will be held, after which point, if a potential alternate winner is unable to be secured, a prize will remain unclaimed.  The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.

 

 

PRIZE DETAILS 

Winner(s) will be awarded as detailed below:

• Five (5) Keys for FarmVille 2: Country Escape. Approximate retail value (“APR”): $ .65 (US).
• Total approximate retail value of all prizes: APR: $6.50 (US).
• Limit one prize per Zynga user ID. Winner not entitled to any surplus between actual prize value and stated prize value.
• Zynga reserves the right to change the prize to one of equal or greater value, and may award the prize as a gift card, at its sole discretion.
• All expenses or costs associated with acceptance of the prize not mentioned in these Rules are the responsibility of the winner.

On Fridays, FarmVille 2 invites you to participate in Add Me Friday. We know that there are Farmers out there looking for neighbors just as active as they are, and it's our goal to bring you together.

It's easy! Leave a comment with a link to your Facebook profile and a message to future Neighbors!

FarmVille 2: Country Escape For the Birds

A new event is here! Collect rare Event items at the Birdwatching Tower! Earn exclusive rewards, including a Bundle of Power Pins!

If you are at least level 15, you will see a pop-up inviting you to the For the Birds Event! You will need to force close the game to see the update, which means to clear it from your mobile device's memory. You may even need to reboot your device.

 

You will have until 3/22/2015 to complete the For the Birds quests, and win Golden Gloves, Stamps, and Power Pins along the way! 

If you've played the Tight Knit Event, this will be similar with 4 phases giving out different rewards each phase. Along the way you will earn Golden Gloves and new Power Pins!

Start off the quests by visiting the Event Grounds located behind Eagle Eye Eddie's airplane. The Event Grounds will guide you through the items needed in each phase, the rewards and tips.

There is a new temporary building to send your Farm Hands to, the Birdwatching Tower. You can send up to 4 Farm Hands to find rare goods for this event. Make Birdseed in the Windmill which is needed to explore the tower. 

 

Each phase will have 4 quests each to guide you through what you'll need to complete it. Tap on the Quest Manager on the lower left of your game, to find quests.
