Kate Hudson’s Fig & Burrata Flatbread
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Water
- 1/3 cup Olive Oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 whole Burrata
- 10 whole Figs, sliced in quarters
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1 tbs Honey
- ½ tsp Fleur De Sel
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 450° F.
- Using medium bowl, mix together water and salt. While mixing, slowly add the olive oil.
- Add ¾ of the flour and whisk together the mixture until you have an elastic sticky dough.
- Gradually add the rest of the flour until you get workable dough.
- Roll the dough into a circle using a roller, not making the dough too thin. Note: it does not need to be perfectly round.
- Bake in greased pan for 8 - 10 minutes or until dry and crispy.
- Brush the flatbread with olive oil and let it completely cool, otherwise your cheese will melt.
- Top flatbread with burrata cheese mounds, sliced figs and arugula.
- Finish with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of fleur de sel.
- Slice flatbread into squares to enjoy!
