Deluxe Shady Trough Survey!

The Deluxe Shady Trough!

 

 

Do you want more room for Animals on your farm? If so, then the Deluxe Shady Trough is for you! This is an upgrade to the regular Shady Trough and will increase your Animal population cap by 5!

 

Note: If you do not have the regular Shady Trough, you can purchase one in the General Store for 10,000 Coins. You will receive +10 Animal max capacity once the Shady Trough is fully built. After that time, you will be able to upgrade it and get +5 Animal max capacity (+15 total). To learn more about the Shady Trough, view the official guide: Shady Trough.

If you are level 12 or higher, you will see the following pop-up. Click on “Upgrade” to get started.

 

 

If you do not wish to upgrade to the Deluxe Shady Trough, simply click the blue "Upgrade" button on the menu popup, then click the red "Cancel" button at the bottom right hand corner of the game screen (see image below). Note: You can upgrade to the Deluxe Shady Trough at a later time by clicking on your Shady Trough, then click the blue "Upgrade" button on the menu popup.

 

 

 

Building the Deluxe Shady Trough:

Just like the regular Shady Trough, the upgrade needs to be completed before you can enjoy an increased animal capacity. 

Your first step is collecting Building Materials. You will need the following items to start building your Upgrade:

• Wood Stain
• Tin Buckets
• Utility Hooks

 

To collect Wood Stain, click on the “Post” button to post to your Facebook wall – you will get the parts when your friends click on it, or when you click on a similar newsfeed post.

 

Click on the “Ask” button to send requests for Tin Buckets and Utility Hooks to your Neighbors. If you do not wish to wait for your friends, you can skip any of these tasks for Farm Bucks.

 

 

 

 

Note: You can send a request for materials to your Friends every 18 hours.

 

Once you have collected the required items, click on the “Start Building” button at the bottom of the construction Menu. 

 

 

Now that the upgrade is almost complete, you will need a little help from your Neighbors to finish the job. The Deluxe Shady Trough requires four additional helpers, so click on the “Ask Friends” button to send some crew requests to your Friends. When they accept, you will see the spots in the Build Menu begin to fill. If you do not wish to wait for your friends, click the “Hire One” button to purchase crew members with Farm Bucks.

 

Your Deluxe Shady Trough is now complete!

 

 

 

 

 

Additional Information:

• If you are currently at the maximum animal cap, the Deluxe Shady Trough will increase your total Animal capacity by 5.
• You are limited to one Shady Trough upgrade per farm.
• If you sell or delete your Shady Trough, you can purchase a new frame from the General Store for 10,000 Coins.
• Rotate the Trough to view a different angle!

Even the most talented farmers can use a helping hand from time to time. Whether it's some extra water or another plow to harvest your crops, a great Neighbor can make all the difference when you're having a tough day on the farm. 

However, we know it can be difficult to meet folks who are just as dedicated to farming as you are, so we're lending our players a helping hand!

Every Friday, we will be creating a blog post that is designed to help you find new FarmVille 2 Neighbors! Just leave a comment below to let other players know you are looking for Neighbors and don't be shy about making some new friends. 

Before you comment, please take a moment to read some quick guidelines:

 

Commenting Rules

• Any comment in violation of the Terms of Service will be removed. A link to the Terms of Service can be found HERE.

• When posting, please be sure to include your profile link, or people won't be able to add you! When on Facebook, look in the upper right hand corner and click on your name. This is your profile page, and the only way others can find you. Once you are on your profile page, you will need to copy the URL in the browser address bar. Then you can paste that into your comment below this post.

• We encorage you to let others know what kind of farmer you are, and what kind of Neighbors you are looking for. Not everyone plays FarmVille 2 the same, so this information can be important!
