What’s “Farm Backup Quest” and how can I play it?”?
FarmVille2 is always in a constant stride to provide the best farming experience for all our amazing Farmers out there. It is under this improvement process that the game has rolled out its latest update “Farm Backup Quest”.
Completing the “Farm Backup Quest” will ensure that your Farm is enabled with data recovery option and will allow us to keep all your progress and important data safe and secure with us.
If you have been playing only on Facebook, completing this process will also allow you to use your credentials to access your Farm on our very own Zyngagames.com platform without any hassle at any point in the future.
The backup process will also enable us to restore your farm progress across any platform in the future, even if you lose access by any means.
Also, you will win a Hungry Animal Certificate, a Fertilize All Certificate & a Water Certificate once you complete the quest.

You can follow the steps mentioned below to get started and complete the
Farm Backup Quest.
Step 1:
The “Farm Backup Quest” can be started by either clicking in the “Farm Backup HUD” icon or by clicking on the “Okay” button of the “Backup Your Farm” Dialog.
Step 2:
The Farm Backup Quest will consist of 3 Tasks which you will need to complete in order to collect all the quest rewards.
Task 1 - Enter your Email ID
Task 2 - Verify your Email ID
Task 3 - Enter your Phone Number
You can only complete 1 Task at a time. Hence, Task 2 will locked until Task 1 is complete and similarly Task 3 will be locked until Task 2 is completed.
Step 3:
Click on the Go Button of Task 1 to open up the Enter your Email dialog.
We recommend you to provide a valid Email ID that you have access to and the one you wish to link the game with.
This can also be the Email ID that you already use for logging in to the game either on Facebook or Zyngagames.
The details that you provide here, will be saved securely with us and will only be used to save your farm progress and data recovery purposes.
Once you enter your Email ID, click on the Confirm Button to continue.
Step 4:
On clicking the Confirm Button, you will be completing Task 1 and will receive the
Hungry Animal Certificate Reward for the same.
Click on the Get It Button to add the reward in your inventory and continue to Task 2.
Step 5:
Once you click on Get It Button, you will be prompted to verify the Email ID you entered.
At this point, a verification link will already be sent to your Email ID.
NOTE:
- If you do not see the Verification Link in your email Inbox, you can try clicking on the Resend Button.
- Alternatively, you can also check the Spam/Junk Folder in your email Inbox.
In case, you enter an Email ID that is already registered with us with another farm or
(is unavailable) you will be prompted the same (as shown below).
If the above message is shown, we recommend you to click on the Re-enter Email Button and enter a different Email ID to be associated with your current farm.
Step 6:
Go to your Email Inbox. You will see an email sent from Zyngagames.com.
Open the email to see the below verify option. Click on the Green Verify Button.
NOTE: If you have opened and verified your email through your phone, then please refresh the webpage on your computer to confirm verification.
Step 7:
Once you click the Verify Button on the email sent to you in the previous step, you will be redirected to a Zyngagames page saying “Create a Password for your Farm!” (as shown below).
You will be prompted to Create a New Password.
Enter a suitable Password in the Enter Password field.
Type your Password again in the Re-Enter Password field.
If both passwords match, it will be indicated with a green tint on the field as shown above.
Click on Confirm Button to confirm your password and continue.
Step 7:
With the completion of the previous steps, your “Verify Email and Restore Facebook Farm” process will be complete and you will be able to review your Zyngagames credentials on a dialog as shown below.
Checking the “Login and Save Credentials” checkbox will allow you to save your credential data and login to your farm directly from here.
Unchecking the same, will require you to login to your farm using your Email ID and Password Credentials that you created in the previous steps.
Once you review your information, you can click on “Let’s Play” to continue with your farm.
Step 8:
The previous action will bring you back to the Zyngagames page from where you can continue playing on your farm by clicking the Play Now Button.
Step 9:
On logging back to the game you will automatically receive the reward of Task 2 which is a Fertilize All Certificate.
Click on the Get It Button to add the reward in your inventory and continue to Task 3.
Step 10:
After completing Task 2, you will then unlock Task 3 which will require you to Enter your Phone Number.
Clicking on the Go Button on Task 3, will open up the “Enter your Phone Number” Dialog.
We recommend that you enter your Phone Number along with the correct country code.
Example: If you are playing FarmVille2 from the USA, you can choose to enter either 001 or 1.
The details that you provide here, will be saved securely with us and will only be used to save your farm progress and data recovery purposes.
Once you enter your Phone Number, click on the Confirm Button to continue.
Step 11:
On clicking the Confirm Button, you will be completing Task 3 and will receive the
30 Mins Water Certificate Reward for the same.
Click on the Get It Button to add the reward in your inventory.
With that, your Farm Backup Quest will be complete.
