Zynga Does Real Good For Real Food

Everyone knows playing games is nourishing to the soul. Now, it’ll also be nourishing to bodies! For every new user who joins Zynga.com between May 5th and May 17th*, Zynga will donate $1 (up to $10,000) in support of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution Day on May 17.

It's a zFood revolution!

You might know Jamie Oliver from his many cookbooks or TV shows such as The Naked Chef and Oliver’s Twist. But he’s also passionate about using food education to fight obesity and malnutrition. Food Revolution Day is a day of action for people to make a stand for good food and essential cooking skills, and aims to support and further the mission of Jamie's global charities to inspire everyone to get back to basics and start cooking good food from scratch, and we at Zynga want to help.

In the US, the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, works to bring food education to schools and youth groups, businesses and communities through raising awareness, meaningful partnerships and hands-on training.

Join Zynga.com & Zynga.org in celebrating Food Revolution Day and standing up for real food and better food education; create an account on Zynga.com now and we'll donate $1 to the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation!

Nutritiously,
The Zynga.com Crew

Welcome to the Upgraded Zynga.com!

A little over a year ago, we launched Zynga.com to be the best destination for games. Since then, you've been able to level up faster by getting the help you need when you need it and find friendly competition whenever you want it. It has been amazing to share that with you, but we felt we could make your play experience even better, so we continued to work behind the scenes to produce an upgraded Zynga.com. We're excited to share the results with you today!

We considered your many requests for us to separate your Zynga.com account from your Facebook account, and decided to do exactly that! Gone are the days you log in to Zynga.com with your Facebook email address and password. Instead, you'll use your Zynga login, on which you'll have the opportunity to continue your Facebook game progress once you update your account. You'll then be able to play your games on either Zynga.com with your zFriends or Facebook with your Facebook friends (yes, you'll still be able to play your games on Facebook if you want to), and all progress you make will be reflected in both places. Upgrading your account ensures you have the freedom to keep your social network completely separate from your game network when you play on Zynga.com. This means no more accidentally posting to your Facebook friends or alerting your boss to the fact that you're tending to your farm, city, and kingdom instead of your work!

These are some of our most exciting upgrades to-date, and we look forward to bringing more awesome features to Zynga.com in the months ahead! Update your account to join us as we move closer to our vision of an online community where everyone plays.

Want to know more? Be sure to read the updated Zynga.com FAQ for additional details and the answers to all of your burning questions.

Welcome to the future of Play,
The Zynga.com Crew

Clobber Them With Helpfulness

On Zynga.com, it pays to be helpful. When you send help to another player on Zynga.com you add to your Helpfulness score and overall Helpfulness rank. This score and rank are displayed on your profile page in pretty orange boxes so everyone knows you clobbered them with kindness.

Helpfulness Score + Rank

The helps you've given last for just 7 days, meaning you can't rest on your laurels. Maintaining your Helpfulness Score will take continued effort on your part. If you stop helping other players, your score and rank will sink, so keep at it.

For a more detailed explanation, be sure to read the Official Guide: Helps + The Helpfulness Score in the Zynga.com forum. In the meantime, keep kindly clobbering your zFriends on Zynga.com!

Playfully,
The Zynga.com Crew

Keeping Zynga.com Bug-Free

Zynga.com is the best place to play your favorite games. Even so, despite our rigorous testing, bugs can occasionally slip through. In the rare event that you run into a bug in a Zynga game, please report it to help us determine the cause and develop a fix for everyone as quickly as possible. What's the best way to do that? So glad you asked! Please continue reading for some bug reporting tips that will help us more swiftly resolve any issues you may encounter.

If you experience a bug when playing on Facebook, or if a bug occurs on both Facebook and Zynga.com, be sure to report it in the forum devoted to the game you are playing. Here is a link to the directory of forums for our web games, and here is a link to the directory of forums for our mobile (Android, iPhone, etc.) games.

If, on the other hand, an issue only occurs when you are playing on Zynga.com, it should be reported in this forum. Some examples include: 1) any issue that occurs on a non-gameboard Zynga.com page, such as the Zynga.com homepage or a Zynga.com profile page, 2) any issue with a feature or functionality that resides outside of the gameboard while you play on Zynga.com, including the Zynga.com header, the Right Rail w/ Game Activity Streams, Chat, Zynga.com footer, etc., and 3) any issue with regard to zFriends not showing up where they should, such as in the Multiple Friend Selector (MFS) and on your neighbor bars. If you encounter a Zynga.com-specific issue, please report it in this forum for the fastest possible resolution.

No matter the site on which you are playing, if the issue occurs in more than one game, it is a good idea to report it in the forum of each affected game. Reporting an issue in one game's forum and mentioning in the post that it occurs in multiple games is not as helpful.

Now that you know how best to report any issues you may encounter, we can work together to keep Zynga.com bug-free, which is what we'd all prefer it to be!

Playfully,
The Zynga.com Crew
